Iran’s Steel Output Reaches 7m Tons

Deputy Minister of Industries and Mines, J. Serqini said that Iran’s steel production has reached seven million tons in current year, IRNA reported. Serqini told a seminar on Safety, Health and Environment in Mineral Industries in Sari, North of Iran that 160,000 tons of cathode copper have been produced this year, 60,000 to 70,000 tons of which were to be exported. He added tat so far. 150,000 tons of aluminum has also produced which could meet domestic requirements.
